Népal : Katmandou, visite de la ville
Nous profitons de notre venue au Népal pour visiter Katmandu, capitale du Népal. Nous profitons dès notre arrivée d’une grande période de fête pour les népalais. Chaque jour il y a une fête : la fête du chien, la fête de la vache, la fête du taureau et nous découvrons des habitants enjoués, une ville fleurie ou des guirlandes de couleurs et des colliers de fleurs habillent chaque arrivant, chaque maison, les chiens ou les vaches. Nous avons visité qques grands sites religieux et historiques.
PASHUPATI : lieu de culte, de pèlerinage et de fête où les hindouistes pratiquent la crémation des corps au bord du fleuve Bagmati.
Ils vénèrent SHIVA, déesse de la création et de la destruction.
BOUDHANATH STUPA : lieu de pèlerinage bouddhiste, le plus important du monde. Édifice à 4 niveaux spirituels : la parole, le corps, l’esprit . Des bouddhistes du monde entier viennent vénérer Bouddha et se débarrasser de la colère, l’envie et l’ignorance pour atteindre le nirvana dernier et quatrième sommet de l’édifice.
BHAKTAPUR : ville ancienne en brique et en bois sculpté classée au patrimoine de l’humanité et enfin DURBAR SQUARE, site historique des hippies des années 70 et Freak Street, la rue de la vente de HASCHE il y a 40 ans !
